Teatime with Susan Costello

Teatime with Susan Costello

This week’s Kindred TeaTime interview is with Susan Costello, mortgage banker at Wells Fargo and one of the most amazing “Renaissance women” I’ve ever met! Reach out to her at [email protected].

Name a book you loved as a kid. Is there a line or character you remember?

I love The 500 Hats of Bartholomew Cubbins by Dr. Seuss. That made me laugh – the visuals were very funny. All those caps stacked on his head!

What did you last read? Thumbs up or down?

I read Super Pumped: The Battle for Uber and I thought it was very interesting. A lot of the information I already knew because so many of my clients work for Uber, but it was fascinating.

In your next life you can be a lion, a tiger or a bear. Which do you choose and why?

A lion. Because it’s dominant.

What is something you learned from a parent that turned out to be wise?

I got my moral fiber from my parents. I learned to do the right thing.

There’s a new interior paint color based on you and your life. What’s its name and why?

Super pumped purple. It’ my favorite color and it is a regal color. I love deeply saturated, luscious colors.

What in the world gives you hope?

People seem to be increasingly aware of the devastation caused by climate change. It’s starting to come into everybody’s consciousness. Hopefully, we’re taking some action on it.

It’s teatime. What’s your order?

A scone with clotted cream and no tea because I don’t drink tea. I would have something else like soda water, or if they had fresh orange juice that’s what I would love!
