- Find some design inspiration at the Decorator Showcase now through May 27th. See the work of over 30 designers and how they transformed the mansion at 2898 Broadway on “Billionaire’s Row“ in Pacific Heights. This annual event benefits the financial aid program at San Francisco University High School. More information and tickets available here.
- Catch a movie outdoors. Sundown Cinema returns for the season with seven films at seven parks across San Francisco May through October. First up is a Selena sing-along at Dolores Park on Friday, May 17.
- Get ready for Bay to Breakers on Sunday, May 19. It’s not too late to sign up here to run. Or just join the crowd on the 19th to cheer on the runners and appreciate all the zany costumes. It’s more about the journey than the finish line!
- Visit one of San Francisco’s newest green spaces. Salesforce Park is a rooftop landscape 70 above the Salesforce Plaza at 425 Mission Street. In addition to its 11 different botanical gardens, water sculpture running the length of the park, and the perimeter walking trail, the park hosts weekly yoga classes and a variety of free public events throughout the year. Check out the events schedule here.
- Celebrate Memorial Day Weekend at Carnaval SF. The two-day festival on May 27-28 will cover 17 blocks in the Mission District, with five main stages, 50 local performing artists, and 400 vendors, followed by a grand parade on May 28.
