Name a book you loved as a kid. Is there a line or character you remember?

The Secret Garden (Frances Hodgson Burnett) because after being so neglected for so many years, the garden was made beautiful again. Starting as a place of sorrow, it evolved into a magical setting that touched people in many different ways.

What did you last read? Thumbs up or down?

An accepted purchase contract! Thumbs up!

In your next life you can be a lion, a tiger or a bear. Which do you choose and why?

(Laughing) I feel like I have to start out by saying “Oh my!” I really don’t want to be any of those animals. I want to be a beautiful, colorful bird so I can soar through the air.

What is something you learned from a parent that turned out to be wise?

Be more neutral than negative. Instead of thinking the worst is going to happen, know that whatever is happening is what is supposed to be happening.

There’s a new interior paint color based on you and your life. What’s its name and why?

It’s a very, very soft pink. Very pale. I have some pillows that color and have been very attracted to it lately. It speaks to me. Not too bright and not too dark. Just perfect. Softest Pink.

What in the world gives you hope?

Each new day.

It’s teatime. What’s your order?

Oh, depends on my mood. A delicate white tea or a jasmine tea. Or perhaps a nice herbal Chai. Served with good company!
